Two independent SMS opt-ins (A2P 10DLC)

Per carrier policy, Lux Services LLC captures transactional SMS consent and marketing SMS consent as two separate, independently-checked opt-ins. Opting into one does not opt you into the other. You can opt into transactional only, marketing only, both, or neither — and revoke either independently at any time by replying STOP.

1. SMS Messaging Program

Lux Services LLC ("BJJ Track," "we," "us") provides an SMS messaging program on behalf of fitness businesses, gyms, and martial arts academies ("Businesses") that use our platform. BJJ Track operates as a multi-academy software platform; a shared toll-free messaging number may be used to send messages on behalf of multiple Businesses.

Messages are organized into two independent categories with separate consent. You will only receive messages in a category if you have explicitly opted into that category — they are not bundled.

1a. Transactional SMS (separate opt-in)

If you check the transactional SMS consent checkbox, you may receive operational messages directly tied to your account or appointment with the Business:

  • Appointment and class reminders
  • Trial class confirmations and follow-ups
  • Billing and payment notifications
  • Schedule changes and cancellation notices
  • Account alerts and membership updates
  • Check-in receipts

These messages are not promotional. Opting into transactional SMS does not opt you into marketing SMS.

1a-i. DTMF as real-time consent (Smart Voice IVR follow-ups)

If a Business places an automated Smart Voice IVR call to you and the recorded prompt offers to send a one-time transactional SMS (for example, "press 1 to receive a payment link by text message"), pressing the indicated digit during that call constitutes valid real-time TCPA / A2P 10DLC consent for that single transactional message. The press is recorded as a consent receipt tied to the originating call, and the SMS is sent only after that press is confirmed. This consent is narrowly scoped to the specific follow-up the IVR script described — it is not a blanket opt-in to ongoing transactional or marketing SMS. To stop all future SMS regardless of consent path, reply STOP at any time.

1b. Marketing SMS (separate, independent opt-in)

If you separately check the marketing SMS consent checkbox, you may also receive promotional content:

  • Class promos and limited-time offers
  • Special events, seminars, and tournaments
  • Newsletters and program announcements
  • Membership renewal incentives

The marketing checkbox is unchecked by default and is independent of the transactional opt-in. Marketing consent is never collected together with any other consent or as a condition of any purchase.

2. How to Opt In

Both consent checkboxes appear together on every public form, but they are independently checked and recorded. You may opt into either, both, or neither.

  • Transactional opt-in: Check the “I agree to receive transactional SMS” checkbox on a contact form, trial signup form, member registration form, kiosk check-in form, or chat widget. Each form also lets you provide verbal opt-in to a Business' staff who then records it on your behalf.
  • Marketing opt-in: Separately check the “I agree to receive promotional SMS” checkbox on the same form. Leaving this unchecked while checking transactional means you receive operational messages only.
  • Reply opt-in: Texting START, YES, or SUBSCRIBE to our messaging number opts you back in to whichever categories you previously had active.

Each opt-in is recorded in our SMS consent ledger separately by category, with timestamp, IP address, user agent, source URL, and the verbatim disclosure text shown to you at the moment of opt-in. The full compliance evidence is at bjjtrack.com/sms-consent; the live consent capture page is at bjjtrack.com/sms-consent-cta.

By opting in, you confirm you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number provided. Consent is never a condition of purchase or service. You can use any Business' services without opting into either SMS category.

3. How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time. Opt-out applies platform-wide across all categories you have opted into.

  • Reply STOP to any message you receive.
  • Reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.
  • Reply REVOKE or OPTOUT.

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message: “You have been unsubscribed. Reply START to re-subscribe at any time.” You will not receive any further SMS messages from the shared platform number unless you opt back in.

You can also revoke a single category (transactional or marketing) without revoking the other by emailing contact@bjjtrack.com and naming the category to revoke.

4. How to Get Help

For help with SMS messaging, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at contact@bjjtrack.com.

5. Message Frequency (per category)

Frequency is capped per category and disclosed at the moment of opt-in:

  • Transactional category — up to approximately 10 messages per month, varying with your interactions (more during a trial week, fewer for established members).
  • Marketing category — up to approximately 4 messages per month, only if you have checked the separate marketing opt-in.

Recipients with only the transactional opt-in will never receive marketing messages, even if the Business runs a promotional broadcast. Our send platform refuses dispatch to any recipient who lacks an active consent record matching the message category.

6. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan. BJJ Track is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.

7. Supported Carriers

SMS messaging is supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

Your phone number and messaging data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data, Retention & Telemetry Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Your phone number is used to deliver messages for the Business you opted in with, to maintain compliance and opt-out records by category, and to operate the BJJ Track messaging system. The Privacy Policy describes the two-category consent model and how each consent record is stored separately.
